Book Review: The Toothless Fairy by Timothy Jordan

First off I loved this book! The illustrations, by Matthew LaFleur, are awesome and make me want a Toothless Fairy cartoon right now! The story itself is adorable.
My daughter even liked it. She is picky but loves books that rhyme. So this is right up her alley.
The story is about a fairy who believes she looks scary and is afraid to make friends. It has some parts with a slightly muddled message but over all it does manage to deliver a decent message in the end.
There are stillsome questionable decisions on the part of the fairy and I would have preferred if the message had leaned a bit heavier toward acceptance of someone exactly how they are. But I think it would be a good spring board for conversations about acceptance and being different.
And it is an adorable fun book.
The Toothless Fairy is available on Amazon now.
