Book Review: Babak The Beetle by Fred Paronuzzi

Babak is about a kind and confused beetle that finds a bumpy egg and goes on a quest to find it’s owner.

I wouldn’t have liked this book as a kid. I would have felt sad for the beetle because his egg is a golf ball and will never hatch.
I was a weird kid, though. I am sure plenty of kids would love this book.

It has lots of words. So I would say it’s best for kids who are starting to read full sentences themselves. A younger child may get bored and want pages turned faster.

My daughter only likes books with rhymes or repeated phrases. So, this one wasn’t for her either.

Babak The Beetle can be bought on Amazon or at other book sellers right now.

*i received this book from Netgalley in exchange for a fair and honest review*
