Book Review: Swinging Bridge by Debra Shiveley Welch

Swinging Bridge feels much like a book of short stories. The chapters are mostly laid out as a short story and a poem that accompanies the story.

The chronology is mostly in order and the stories are easy to follow. You can get a real feel for the authors life and there are things that take you by surprise.

I wouldn’t call it a feel good fun beach read, though. While a few stories are sweet and uplifting others are much darker.

That said, I personally enjoyed the book and I wish I could find a print version.

Swinging Bridge available as a downloadable ebook for $2.99 on Amazon.

* I received this book free from Netgalley in exchange for a fair and honest review.*
