Book Review: My New Best Friend by Sara Marlowe

My New Best Friend chronicles a little girl’s time spent with her new best friend. The friend is represented by what appears to be a child’s drawing of the girl herself.

And sure enough at the end it is revealed that the new best friend is indeed the little girl herself.

The book intends to teach children about self care and being happy with yourself. Which are good messages for children and I’m sure would be especially helpful to children who have trouble making friends.

The book is well written and the illustrations by Ivette Salom are very cute. I think this book would good for any child but especially good for children showing of signs of self doubt or children who seem to dependent on their friends.

You can buy My New Best Friend on October 4th at your favorite book seller.

*i received this book free from Netgalley in exchange for a fair and honest review*
