Book Review: The Librarians and the Mother Goose Chase by Greg Cox

I love The Librarians so much. It’s my favorite currently airing television show.   The first book was also enjoyable and I was excited to get to read an ARC of this book.

The Mother Goose Treaty was mentioned in a previous episode of the show but wasn’t elaborated on. This book tells the backstory on it as well as telling a fun story with a fun twist villain.

In the previous book I wasn’t fond of the way Jacob Stone was written. It just didn’t sound like Stone. It was clear the author was having trouble getting a handle on Stone’s voice but this book shows improvement. It still isn’t 100% on mark with Stone’s personality but it’s much closer. It wasn’t distracting this time at least.

I am always recommending the Librarians tv show and movies to people. The books aren’t AS good but they’re a great addition to and expantion of the universe that the movies and show created.

You can purchase this book as of today and the previous book is also available wherever books are sold. The show airs on TNT and the first two seasons and the films are available on DVD.

*i received this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.*
